Students are facing a crisis of meaning in their lives and in their education. We know that students who are fully invested in their majors and in their lives are more likely to complete classes and degrees and be successful overall. Faculty and staff who feel that their teaching is meaningful also have a more positive experience. These talks will consider ways in which faculty and staff might foreground how the are already making use of the dictum of “Know Thyself” which was engraved on the Oracle at Delphi.
