Are you looking for self-paced online courses to enhance your skills?  These steps will show you how to register for our many self-paced online courses.

Once registered you will receive a confirmation email, stating that you have been enrolled in the course.  You can now enter the course by clicking on Go to Course Offering… or you can register for additional courses.  If you click on “Done”, you will be taken back to the MyCourses homepage.

Step-by-Step

  1. Login to MyCourses
  2. Click on On-Demand Workshops on the Navbar (top of the page)
  3. Click on the Title of the Course that you would like to register for
  4. Click on Register
  5. Click on Submit
  6. Click on Finish

ITT2002: Writing Effective Rubrics

This is an on-demand and self-paced online course.   Writing an effective rubric can be challenging but taking the time to create one that shows the students what is required to achieve a good grade on an assignment is important. This course will provide some tips on how to develop an effective rubric. It will also provide some resources that you might want to use when writing a rubric. Writing an effective rubric does not have to be a solidarity task. It is sometimes done best when working with other faculty in your discipline.

ITT2004: Flipping the Classroom

This is an on-demand and self-paced online course. The concept of flipping the classroom generally means that students are given instructional materials before a class lesson. During the class lesson, the students are then prepared to dive deeper into the subject of the lesson. The instructor can also spend more time helping students individually. After the lesson, the students can re-assess their understanding of the lesson materials and extend their learning.
